Trawling Vessels

I keep reminded myself that there are things we see on a daily basis that some people may never see. Here are two large trawling ships, these vessels go out for weeks in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico to bring back the delicacies of the waters.

Fremin’s Restaurant

Fremin’s is located in historic downtown Thibodaux. Originally a three story building built in 1878 with “The Roth Drugstore” on the first, the second floor housed the offices of Dr. J. L. Danos and Dr. Thomas Stark, and the third floor contained living quarters. The third floor was destroyed by Hurricane Betsy in 1965.
The Fremin brothers of Thibodaux took over the building in 1998 and since then Fremin’s has become a prominent restaurant in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
